Why a light box can cost like a heavy one.
Couriers charge on whichever is greater: the actual weight, or the volumetric weight worked out from the parcel size. A big, light parcel takes up space a courier could have sold to a heavier one, so they bill for the volume. Get the size wrong and you either under-bill your customer or over-pay your carrier.

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
AnexVM is a product of [Registered legal entity name], registered at [Registered address], India. We decide why and how your personal data is handled, which makes us the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under the GDPR.

2. What we collect
a. Demo and quote requests. Your name, company, email, phone, the model you selected and the parcel volume you describe. We collect this only when you submit the form, and only after you tick the consent box.
b. Website usage. With your cookie consent, aggregate information about which pages are viewed. No non-essential cookie or tracker runs before you allow it. See the Cookie Policy.
c. Machine cloud and companion app. For customers running AnexVM machines, we hold user accounts and operator identities, machine and batch records, measurement data (dimensions, weight, timestamp) and the parcel photograph captured at weighing. This runs the service for your organisation.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your demo or quote request: your consent.
- To send product updates: a separate consent, which you can withdraw without affecting the request above.
- To operate the machine cloud and app: performance of the contract with your organisation.
- To keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interest, using strictly necessary cookies only.
We do not use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects, and we do not sell it.
4. How long we keep it
- Demo and quote enquiries: 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
- Cloud measurement and account records: for the life of the customer contract, then per the agreed deletion schedule.
- Consent records: 3 years, so we can evidence what you agreed to and when.
- Cookie choices: 6 months, after which we ask again.
5. Who we share it with
Cloud hosting runs on Amazon Web Services in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region. Ruban Dynamics, our engineering partner, builds and operates parts of the system and acts as a data processor under written terms. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Where it is stored
Primary storage is in India (AWS ap-south-1). If we ever transfer personal data outside India or the EEA, we do it under an approved safeguard and record the basis for that transfer.
7. Your rights
India (DPDP Act, 2023). You can access your data, correct, complete or update it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, raise a grievance, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
EU and EEA (GDPR). Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA and CPRA). The right to know, delete and correct, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information.

The volumetric weight calculator and the measurement error calculator are guidance tools. Divisors vary by carrier and by contract, and carriers round in different ways. Treat the output as an estimate, not a quotation and not billing advice. Check your own carrier agreement before acting on a number.
6. No warranty for site content
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
